Description

Wandsworth Council has commissioned a design team to assess the feasibility for the development of the undercrofts at Badric Court for new social housing homes, including landscaping and refuse collection improvements.

• Alterations including the infill of undercroft spaces beneath two blocks to provide six self-contained flats (2 x 4-bedroom and 4 x 2-bedroom) with associated amenity space
• Alterations and expansion of the existing refuse collection chambers around the block
• Alterations and improvements to the existing main entrances and hard/soft landscaping around the block

News

Following completion of the tender process, H A Marks have been appointed as the main contractor.

H A Marks took possession of the site on Tuesday 9 May 2023 and attended the Meet the Contractor event which took place on Friday 12 May 2023 between 4 and 5pm. At the event, the contractor shared more detailed information in respect of the construction programme, logistics, site management, resident liaison, health and safety matters.

The scheme will take around 56 weeks to complete, so we estimate completion in June 2024. The enabling works including removal of existing slabs and investigating of existing supplies have commenced and are ongoing.
