This Stoptober take the first step towards a smoke-free life

The benefits of stopping smoking can be immediate. Quitting smoking can improve your health, increase your energy levels, reduce your risk of serious illnesses and save you money. There are events around the borough this month to help you take the first steps to quit.

Whether you've tried before or this is your first attempt, help is available and quitting is possible. 

Thousands of residents have accessed the Wandsworth Stop Smoking Service, with 57 per cent successfully quitting, a rate higher than the England average.  

With access to free tailored support including professional in person and over the phone advice, nicotine replacement therapies, and vaping to quit smoking, smokers are three times more likely to cut down and quit smoking for good.

Free Health Pop-up at Roehampton Library  

Come along to our free Health Pop-up and speak to local professionals, including a pharmacist. No appointment needed. 

The pop-up offers free stop smoking support, NHS Health Checks, Flu and COVID vaccinations, blood pressure checks, general health advice and employment support.
