St Boniface RC Primary School Street

A School Street has been introduced in April 2023 on Undine Street.

Operating hours

Monday to Friday from 8.15 to 9.15am and 2.45 to 3.45pm, term time only.

During the operating times people walking, scooting, using wheelchairs, mobility scooters and cycles (including adapted cycles) will be able to enter the School Street.

Motor vehicles are prohibited during the operating times, subject to a limited number of exemptions. 

How it works

  • Signs notify drivers of the days and times when the School Street is enforced
  • Retractable barriers are currently being used to reinforce the School Street restrictions

The School Street serving St Boniface RC Primary School was introduced using an experimental traffic order following consultation and engagement in 2022.

There is a statutory 6-month period following implementation in which anyone may comment in writing and this feedback will help us determine whether or not the scheme should be kept, amended or withdrawn. Visit the consultation page to submit your feedback.
