Renew or apply for a resident parking permit

You can renew or apply for a permit online, by post or in person.

Applications made by post or in person at the Customer Centre will incur an administration fee of £20. Applications made online will not incur the administration fee.

Housing Estate parking permits

If you live on a housing estate, you must apply for a housing estate parking permit. This facility is currently not available online. Visit the Housing Estate pages for full terms and conditions and to download an application form.

Apply online at the Customer Centre

You can apply online at the self service area in the Customer Centre. Here we can help you to use the online facilities. Applications made in the Customer Centre will not incur the administration fee.

You will need to bring the required documents with you.

Apply by post or in person

From 1 June 2015, all applications made by post or in person at the Customer Centre will incur a £20 administration fee. You will not be charged this fee if you use the self serve facilities.

If you require your permit on the same day then an administration fee will apply.

How long will it take?

We will aim to process your application within two working days, and it will be sent out by second class post once the permit has been authorised.

The permit is not valid until it is displayed in your car.
