Partnership Case Study
Richmond and Wandsworth Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) Community Forum
Project Summary
The Richmond and Wandsworth VAWG Community Forum brings together organisations across the two boroughs to strengthen the collective response to violence against women and girls (VAWG). Designed as a professional, inclusive and solution‑focused space, the forum enables partners to share learning, build relationships and coordinate activity that supports safer communities.
Facilitated by Richmond and Wandsworth Councils and shaped by community‑led leadership, the forum ensures that local insight, lived experience and frontline expertise remain central to the boroughs’ approach to tackling VAWG.

Community Voice:
What our communities said

"The VAWG forum is an empowering, uplifting and great place to meet and network with other professionals in the VAWG sector. I have loved being a part of this work to drive change collectively - even though the subject matter is difficult, being in a room with others having the same vision helps make the mission believable"
