We want to hear what you love about Balham and what could be even better.

We’ve set up the Balham Forum to find out what Balham means to you and what you are proud of, as well as hear your suggestions for what could be improved.

We’ve had some really good feedback so far, and we’re using it to help shape the Balham you want. We announced the Balham Neighbourhood Wardens in direct response to your feedback.

We will keep listening to you. Now, one way you can tell us what you think about Balham is with the interactive boards we’re setting up around the town centre. We’ll use this feedback to decide which changes we will make first to improve your town.

You can find the boards in six prominent locations around the town. In addition you can speak to people in person at four events:

  • Balham Car Boot Sale, 22 February, 10an – noon
  • Tooting Common, near the Parkrun starting point, 28 February, 9am-10am
  • Hildreth Street Market, 28 February, 11am-noon

You can also find the boards at the upcoming community drop-in on Saturday (21 February) attended by the Leader of the Council, Simon Hogg and senior council officers. Go to Ravenstone Primary School, Ravenstone Street between 11am and 1pm.

Or if you prefer you can take the survey online.

Simon Hogg said: “Your views are crucial in ensuring we are making the changes Balham needs, so please find a board, come to an event or take the survey online. Balham is a fantastic town, so let’s make it even better.”
