Meet potential employers at Employ Wandsworth jobs fair

Wandsworth’s largest jobs and skills event, Employ Wandsworth 2023, returns to Wandsworth Civic Suite on Friday May 26 2023.

Dozens of companies from retail, construction, customer service, leisure, hospitality, tourism and other sectors will be there to meet job seekers, who can attend free of charge.   

Find out about a wide range of opportunities in Wandsworth at all levels. Get your first job, climb the career ladder, take a new career path or find work closer to home.   

There will also be information on training and development, free employability workshops delivered by Google Digital Garage and by South London Partnership on green skills courses offered by South Thames College.

Employ Wandsworth 2023 is organised by Wandsworth Council’s Work Match team. The council’s free jobs service recently celebrated its 10^th anniversary and in that time it has supported more than two thousand local people into work.  

There will be a chance to meet the Work Match team at Employ Wandsworth and find out how you can be first in line for new job opportunities.  

Kemi Akinola, Cabinet member for the voluntary sector, business and culture, said: “We want our residents to get good jobs as close to home as possible. It saves them travel time and transport costs and makes sure it’s local people benefiting from new opportunities. 

“Whatever stage you’re at in your career come along, meet potential employees and get advice on taking that next step.”
