About Park Lane
Historic country lane connecting Upper Richmond Road to Putney Heath. A traffic-free thoroughfare, surfaced with rough gravel, lined with a variety of mature and shady trees, the Lane runs alongside the 1920s Dover House Estate for part of its route, and is otherwise backed by garden fences. Roughly two thirds along the Lane is the wide green park known as The Pleasance.
