The Home Improvement Agency

Our Home Improvement Agency (HIA) arranges home improvements and adaptations to make homes in the borough warm, safe and secure.

We advise and help households with a disabled or vulnerable person so they can remain living independently at home. This includes council tenants, homeowners and tenants of private landlords.

We can support you through the financial process and building works by:

  • Giving advice
  • Assisting with grants applications
  • Surveying
  • Inspecting
  • Supervising approved contractors

Cold Buster Grants are not available in Wandsworth.
