About Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

A child has Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) if they have a learning difficulty or disability that requires special provisions to be made for them.

Support

You can access support through the Wandsworth SEND local offer, which covers topics including an overview of SEN education, resource bases, special schools and colleges.

Wandsworth, Advice and Support Service is a free service providing confidential and impartial information, advice and support to children and young people (aged 0-25) with special educational needs and/or disabilities, and their parents or carers.

The Schools and Community Psychology Service works with children who need support with their social, emotional and learning development.
