Book school governor training
A range of training opportunities are on offer for governors. Charges apply to all courses.
Most courses are held at the Wandsworth Professional Development Centre (WPDC), a purpose-built training centre with excellent facilities.
Central programme
The central programme gives governors the opportunity to learn from experts, meet other governors, share practice and gain new ideas and insights.
It is cost-effective, as information can be cascaded to fellow governors. Topics can be relevant to governors with specific areas of interest and responsibility.
Schools can purchase a range of traded services packages which include free attendance at governor training and development sessions.
