Planning system changes
We are upgrading our system between Friday 11 September and Friday 25 September, and some services will be unavailable whilst we complete the work.
Deadlines will be extended accordingly.
Applications can be submitted through the Planning Portal, but they will not be processed during this period.

The Town Centre Uses supplementary planning document (SPD) details criteria that are material in determining planning applications related to public houses, hot food takeaways and betting shops.
The document aims to help protect public houses and bars which are of community or heritage value. It also seeks to control new units of hot food takeaways and resist new betting shops in areas of high concentration.
The SPD was adopted in March 2015.
