Planning system changes

Applications can be submitted through the Planning Portal, but they will not be processed during this period.

Wandsworth has introduced controls over a number of public houses and bars following consultation on the Town Centre Uses Supplementary Planning Document (Adopted March 2015), a number of which are listed/locally listed buildings and/or in conservation areas.
The Direction was confirmed by us on 28 November 2016.

Article 4 Direction 2016
The council has made on Friday 12 August 2016 a non-immediate Article 4 Direction pursuant to Article 4(1) of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 ('the Order') to withdraw some or all of the following permitted development rights from 120 sites in Wandsworth, as set out in more detail in the direction.
- Change of Use - this being development comprised within the Classes A and B of Part 3 and Class D of Part 4 of Schedule 2 to the Order;
- Demolition - this being development comprised within Classes B and C of Part 11 of Schedule 2 to the Order; and
- Alteration - this being development comprised within Classes A and C of Part 2 of Schedule 2 to the Order.
