Planning system changes

Applications can be submitted through the Planning Portal, but they will not be processed during this period.

We have prepared a guidance document for applicants and developers on financial viability matters. The guidance explains what a viability assessment is and details what assessments should include. Our affordable housing priorities are also included in this document.
This guidance provides clarity to applicants when preparing planning applications and will help to streamline the decision-making process. The document was published in July 2024.
