To enable the switch over to the new system, some online services will be temporarily unavailable between Friday 11 and Friday 25 September while information is securely transferred over.

During this period:

  • Planning applications will not be registered or determined.
  • Planning application views and searches will only be available for applications dated before 11 September.
  • Planning application commenting services will be temporarily unavailable.
  • Building control applications and online services will be unavailable or operating with limited functionality.
  • Local land charges services will be temporarily unavailable.

Residents can still comment on planning applications during this two-week period by emailing planning@wandsworth.gov.uk in place of online comments. Deadlines will be extended where necessary.

All comments received will be recorded, considered by the case officer and taken into account in the usual way when decisions are made.

The new system has already been successfully introduced by the neighbouring London Borough of Richmond and will provide a more modern, user-friendly and resilient service for residents, applicants and professional users.
