  • Private rented property licensing consultation closing soon

    • Wandsworth Council is seeking views on proposals to introduce two new property licensing schemes.
    • The schemes are known as additional houses in multiple occupation (HMO) licensing and selective licensing. 
    • The aim of these schemes is to drive up property standards, clamp down on rogue landlords and deliver a fairer borough for all.

  • Wandsworth celebrates a successful Sustainable September

    • Wandsworth's Sustainable September has come to a close, wrapping up the borough’s first ever month-long celebration of local sustainability initiatives.
    • Wandsworth Council worked with local community groups and organisations to deliver an exciting programme of over 60 inspiring events, many funded through the Council's Climate Microgrants scheme.
    • Highlights included Car Free Day on 22 September, welcoming the highest number of street parties in London.
