Faith Leaders light candles of hope

Deputy Mayor of Wandsworth, Cllr Sana Jafri, Rabbi Jeff Berger, Imam Sayed Ali Abbas Razawi, and the Archdeacon of Wandsworth John Kiddle came together at Wandsworth Town Hall to light candles of hope on Monday night in the wake of the terrible escalation of conflict in the middle-east.

The Venerable John Kiddle said: “It was a great privilege and honour to attend the candle lighting event at Wandsworth Town Hall on Monday night.
“I was very moved by the words that were shared and especially by the attendance of so many young people and their evident strength of faith and desire to live lives of courage, generosity and peace.
“It was indeed an evening full of hope, and especially so in the light of the situation the world finds itself in.”
