The event is Wandsworth largest jobs and skills fair, with more than 50 local companies going along to meet job seekers, including Gordon Ramsay Restaurants, Penguin Random House, Hyatt Hotels and Cineworld.

There was also chance to take part in free employability workshops and get information on training and development, including exclusive workshops from one of the world’s top digital learning resources, Google Digital Garage.

Cllr Kemi Akinola, cabinet member for the voluntary sector, business and culture, said: “Employ Wandsworth is a fantastic event that connects people with work and training. We want to ensure that Wandsworth residents get local jobs, so if you couldn’t make it get in touch with Work Match now to see how they can help you.”

Employ Wandsworth 2023 is organised by Wandsworth Council’s Work Match team. The council’s free jobs service is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and in that time it has supported more than two thousand local people into work.
