Paul White, Cabinet Member for Environment, said: “The Wandsworth Sustainability Network is a welcoming and open space for positive discussions around sustainability in our borough, and we’re excited to start 2026 by hearing directly from our communities on climate issues.
“Working together with residents, businesses and community groups as part of the Wandsworth Sustainability Network means we can share in the wealth of local knowledge and expertise and collaborate on our commitment to becoming a carbon net zero borough by 2043.
“We are particularly interested in listening to groups that are hit hardest by energy costs, deteriorating health, extreme weather events and environmental impacts, and can benefit from sustainable solutions. Come along and share your ideas on how we can make our borough an even greener place to live and work.”
Launched in November 2022, the Wandsworth Sustainability Network has brought together local communities alongside businesses, charities and the council to collaborate on climate-focused issues.
