How to get involved with Winstanley neighbourhood regeneration

Find out how the Winstanley Community Panel will help shape your neighbourhood.

Winstanley Community Panel

We will work with 15 passionate local residents to help guide the Winstanley neighbourhood's future. Our panel will discuss a range of issues from new homes and community spaces to public art and community safety.

Applications for this opportunity have now closed.

What's involved

The panel will work alongside architects, council officers, and fellow residents to influence real change. No experience is needed. Members will bring their lived experience, ideas, and commitment. We welcome people from all backgrounds and especially encourage those who’ve never joined a panel before.

The time commitment is four hours per month and members will be paid £13.85 per hour (London Living Wage) to take part.

We will support the panel with any access, inclusion or childcare needs. We’re committed to making the panel welcoming and representative of everyone in the community.

Eligibility

The panel will be made up of residents who live in the Winstanley neighbourhood. This includes the Kambala estate, Wayford Street estate, Falcon Road estate, York Road estate, Waylands Street, Maysoule Road, Wynter Street estate, Wilberforce estate and Holgate Avenue.

How to apply

Applications for the community panel closed on 21 November 2025.

What happens next

We will be reviewing applications in the week beginning 24 November, and will be in contact with residents who have applied shortly.
