Provide your information for emergency evacuation planning

We are reviewing the needs of tenants living in high-rise buildings to ensure everyone has the right support in the unlikely event of an emergency.

Residential Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (RPEEPs)

From 6 April 2026, new government legislation requires landlords to work with residents who may need assistance to create Residential Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (RPEEPs).

Your building follows a Stay Put policy to keep you safe during a fire. This means you should remain inside your home unless told otherwise, or if fire, heat or smoke is affecting your home.

However, if an evacuation were ever needed, it is important for us to understand if anyone in your home may need extra help.

You or someone in your household may benefit from support if you:

  • Have physical, sensory, learning or cognitive needs
  • Feel isolated or have support needs that are not being met
  • Are aged 70 or over
  • Find it hard to hear alarms
  • May need extra time to leave your home
  • Cannot use stairs without support
  • Use oxygen cylinders
  • Would need physical assistance in an emergency

Complete the survey

We are asking all households in buildings over 18 metres (seven or more storeys) to complete an online survey.

Your response will help us identify who may need assistance during an evacuation and make sure the correct plans are in place.

What happens next

If your response shows that you may need support, we will contact you by the end of April 2026 to discuss your needs and help create your RPEEP.
