I am writing to each of the London Borough Council leads under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information from all London Councils. For the avoidance of doubt, please forward to your appropriate departments if you are unable to provide the information directly.

In accordance with the Care Act 2014 &/or The Care and Support (Direct Payments) Regulations 2014 please can you advise what is the hourly rate for direct payments paid by your council to those who are in receipt of direct payments/personal budgets.

Please provide summary versions for any requests above if the information is not available in full along with an explanation for any exclusions or redactions.

Our Response:

The indicative hourly rate for: £14.33 and includes NI, holiday pay, employer pension, sickness and employee liability insurance. Care agencies are paid at their charge rates
