Subject: Holmside Court

I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information from the Non-residential team Housing and Community Services department or to any other department the information can be located from. Please may you provide me with the following information between 01/01/2006 to 17/02/2023 pertaining to Holmside Court, Nightingale Lane, London, Balham SW12 8TA.

1. The dates of all sheds at Holmside Court which became available.

2. The dates of all sheds at Holmside Court which were allocated off.

3. Flat numbers and shed allocation (including dates).

4. Flat numbers and their priority & position in the que to a shed.

5. Number of non-Holmside court residents which were allocated a shed and the dates of these

I refer to your request for information received on 20 February 2023. Please see the information below in response to your request: -

1.The dates of all sheds at Holmside Court which became available?

All sheds at Holmside are occupied; the earliest tenancy is from June 1992 and the last tenancy was issued in May 2017. Wandsworth Council does not have dates as to when they became available prior to being rented out.

2.The dates of all sheds at Holmside Court which were allocated off?

Out of 18 sheds, 10 are Council stock and the other 8 are freehold / leasehold. Of the 10 that are Council owned, the dates are as follows:-

- 8th December 2003

- 29th May 2017

- 10th May 2010

- 10th July 2000

- 9th November 2015

- 22nd June 1992

- 11th June 2007

- 6th October 1997

- 6th March 2017

- 9th March 1998

3.Flat numbers and shed allocation (including dates)?

Please note that the flat numbers are considered to be exempt from disclosure under Section 40 (2)(b) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, as releasing personal information relating to other individuals would breach the Data Protection principles. Please note that this is an absolute exemption under the Freedom of Information Act and therefore the public interest test does not apply. However, the shed allocation dates can be provided, and these are set out below:

4.Flat numbers and their priority & position in the que to a shed?

The flat numbers are considered to be exempt from disclosure under Section 40 (2)(b) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, as releasing personal information relating to other individuals would breach the Data Protection principles. Please note that this is an absolute exemption under the Freedom of Information Act and therefore the public interest test does not apply. However, the dates of those on the waiting list (these are residents at the top of the queue) are below:

  • 7/2/08

  • 2/7/15

  • 13/2/17

  • 22/9/22

    5.Number of non-Holmside court residents which were allocated a shed and the dates of these?

    At the point of allocation, 3 were rented to non-Holmside Court residents.
