Please could you provide me with the following information:

1. What is the recycling rate (as a percentage of the total weight of waste) for all waste produced in the council area for the financial year 2021-22, and from the start of financial year 2022 to 31 December 2022?

2. If the figures for 2022/23 are not yet available, please provide an estimated amount, or the amount recycled thus far.

3. How often in a single four-week period does the council collect recycling bins for the following from domestic households:

a. Paper/Carboard

b. Glass

c. Plastic

d. Cans

1. What is the recycling rate (as a percentage of the total weight of waste) for all waste produced in the council area for the financial year 2021-22, and from the start of financial year 2022 to 31 December 2022? Data not held. However, the recycling rate in 2021/22 for all waste produced in Wandsworth that was collected by the Council (including household waste delivered to the local household waste and recycling centre) was 21.7%, or 37.7% if the recycling of metals and aggregates from waste sent for incineration with energy recovery is included. For January-March 2022 the rate was 22.0%, or 37.6% if the recycling of metals and aggregates from waste sent for incineration with energy recovery is included. For April-June 2022 the rate was 20.9%, or 40.0% if the recycling of metals and aggregates from waste sent for incineration with energy recovery is included. For July-September 2022 the rate was 21.3%, or 36.1% if the recycling of metals and aggregates from waste sent for incineration with energy recovery is included. Data for October-December 2022 has not yet been finalised.

2. If the figures for 2022/23 are not yet available, please provide an estimated amount, or the amount recycled thus far. The provisional recycling rate for October-December 2022 is currently estimated at 22.4%, or 36.6% if the recycling of metals and aggregates from waste sent for incineration with energy recovery is included.

3. How often in a single four-week period does the council collect recycling bins for the following from domestic households:

a. Paper/Carboard Weekly

b. Glass Weekly

c. Plastic Weekly

d. Cans Weekly
