Subject: Code of conduct

Reference: WBC-FOI-00714

Within the context of a Freedom Of Information request, could you please send a copy of:

- the code of conduct and/or code of ethics or any equivalent document, which applies currently to Wandsworth Borough Council (WBC) employees

- the conflict of interest policy or any equivalent document, which applies currently to WBC employees

In relation to the above, please also state:

- who is responsible at the WBC (title, name, function, etc.) for implementing effectively the above codes/policies/etc, monitoring/resolving issues, etc.

- what is the WBC complaints procedure if a Wandsworth resident would like to report a suspected breach of these codes/policies/etc.

- are there specific procedures if the complaint relates to a WBC employee in a leadership position

Please provide a reply to the above request for information: 1) in effect for all WBC employees, and 2) if different in effect for WBC employees working in the Wandsworth Children's Services, and especially WBC employees working in the children safeguarding services, including the LADO.

If any of the documents requested above do not exist, please state it clearly.

Furthermore please explain why the above documents/information do not appear to be communicated publicly and could not be found online on the Wandsworth LA website. Are there plans to do so? If yes, when please?

Finally who at Wandsworth Borough Council is responsible for the implementation/monitoring/etc. of the Seven Principles of Public Life aka Nolan Principles, and what is the complaint procedure if a resident would like to complain in relation to these Principles not being respected by a Wandsworth LA employee.

Within the context of a Freedom Of Information request, could you please send a copy of:

- the code of conduct and/or code of ethics or any equivalent document, which applies currently to Wandsworth Borough Council (WBC) employees

- the conflict of interest policy or any equivalent document, which applies currently to WBC employees

Please see the attached documents.

In relation to the above, please also state:

- who is responsible at the WBC (title, name, function, etc.) for implementing effectively the above codes/policies/etc, monitoring/resolving issues, etc. Managers and Human Resources.

- what is the WBC complaints procedure if a Wandsworth resident would like to report a suspected breach of these codes/policies/etc. Corporate complaint process, although if complaint has children social care aspects it may go through the Statutory Childrens Complaints process, all of which is on the Council's website: https://wandsworth.gov.uk/the-council/have-your-say/make-a-complaint/

- are there specific procedures if the complaint relates to a WBC employee in a leadership position - as above.
