    Our Response:

Wandsworth Council submitted a bid to the first round of the Levelling Up Fund. The bid was submitted on 18/06/2021. The project title is 'World Heart Beat At Embassy Gardens'. This bid is for the creation of a new cultural and creative space to support music education and experience for young people. The project is a new youth-focused music education centre and concert venue situated in Nine Elms, a major regeneration area in Wandsworth, London that will be delivered by World Heat Beat (WHB). £800,000 was requested. Aecom were commissioned as consultants to support bid preparation. They were commissioned directly by World Heart Beat and the question regarding costs is better directed to them. There was no cost to the Council in preparing the bid, other than in staff time.
