Subject: Advisory notices

Reference: WBC-FOI-00424

I'd like to submit an FOI request please.

The information I am after relates to the ABTT Guidance Note 20 in accordance with the Health & Safety in the Workplace Act 1974 - the local authority requirement to notify building managers of the need for baseline and ongoing inspections thereafter.

- How many advisory notices were issued by Wandsworth Council to building managers to have ceilings inspected between January 1 2014 and January 1 2023?

And relating to the same time period:

- Of these, how many are repeat notices to the same building owners more than once before it is actioned?

- How many of these advisory notices have led to inspections which require work?

- How many notices has the council had to escalate due to inaction?

Response
