Your Request:

I would like to make an official freedom of information request for all details in relation to any maintenance or block work on Gideon Road estate from March 2016 to the present day.

I will like this information to include all correspondence that were made to inform the tenants and leaseholders of Gideon Road Estate of any updates pertaining to these works from when they will propose to the works were complete.

This includes but is not limited to date of consultations and results of consultations, including tenants/leaseholders feedback during these consultations, checklist of proposed works versus completed works, exact date the works commenced and the exact date that works were complete.

Please include the exact date that was proposed to tenants/leaseholders at the time of when works will l commence

Our Response:

Please note that in accordance with Section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Wandsworth Council are not obliged to comply with your request as the process of identifying, locating, retrieving and, where appropriate, extracting the information would exceed the 'appropriate limit' as defined by the Freedom of Information and Data Protection (Appropriate Limit and Fees) Regulations 2004. This is currently £450. We estimate that to process your request would take significantly in excess of 18 hours. Information for all details of any maintenance or block work on Gideon Road Estate from March 2016 to the present day, is not held in a format in which information can be readily disclosed. In order to provide a breakdown of correspondences made to tenants / leaseholders, each case file would need to be individually located and reviewed. At an estimated 5 minutes to check each property file (approx. 420 in total, including store sheds and garages), it would take in excess of 35 hours to locate and review the information requested. Furthermore, consultations and results of consultations would take an estimated total of 26 hours to retrieve and review.

You may wish to reduce the scope of your request, for example, the responses in relation to any reports on repairs could be provided within the appropriate limit.

In accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000, this email acts as a Refusal Notice.

If you are dissatisfied with the information provided in relation to your request, you may make representations to the Information and Transparency Manager. Any such request for an internal review should be made within 40 days from today's date. Correspondence should be addressed to: FOIW@richmondandwandsworth.gov.uk

If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review, you have the right to apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision at: https://ico.org.uk/global/contact-us/
