Report a workplace health and safety issue
We aim to minimise the risk of injury to both workers and the public by ensuring businesses are complying with the law.
If you have concerns
If you have concerns about health and safety in your workplace, the first step is to inform your employer. You can choose to do this by talking to your line manager, a heath and safety representative or your trade union.
If this does not resolve your issue, or you do not feel able to raise your concern with your employer, you can report it to the relevant enforcing agency. This may be us or the Health and Safety Executive, depending on the nature of your workplace. Find out more about how responsibility for health and safety is shared in the borough.

- Shops
- Hotels
- Restaurants
