Ackroydon Hall on Montfort Place,
Off Princes Way,
|Description||PLOS is an amateur theatre company that stages two productions in Putney every year, which are performed and produced by amateur members from a cross-section of the local community. It aims to be an open and welcoming society and, founded in 1948, it is believed that PLOS is the longest running amateur theatre group in Wandsworth. |
Both productions take place at Putney Arts Theatre and these are usually a traditional family Pantomime in January and a musical in May.
The society always welcomes new members – of all ages and abilities. There is no audition to join and members are encouraged to get involved in any way, whether on stage, or behind the scenes with costumes, backstage, scenery building, promotion, or front of house. There are social events held every month too.
It aims to be an open and welcoming society with no requirement to audition. All they ask is that people are willing to have a go and that they check their availability for performance dates. Contact PLOS if you’re interested in getting involved or to find out more.
