Description | People who are registered blind or severely sight impaired can get a reduction of 50% on the cost of their TV licence. People who are partially sighted or sight-impaired don't qualify. To apply you need to complete a form and send it with a copy of a document proving you are registered blind or severely sight impaired to TV Licencing. This will normally be a copy of a registration card or document from the local council, or a copy of a certificate from your ophthalmologist.
