DescriptionRNIB Readers Libraries (formerly the National Library Service) is part of the largest library in the UK for readers with sight loss. The service is free to join and use except for the subscription-based Talking Books service, for which there is a yearly charge.

It offers a wide choice of fiction and non-fiction books in audio, braille and giant print for adults and children. Up to six books can be borrowed at a time for a loan period of three months (with no limit for Talking Books). The service also provides access to:

- A free bi-annual magazine called Read On
- New Books, a free bi-monthly listing of new titles
- Braille music scores, giant print sheet music, and tutorial CDs
- Reading activities, events and an online RNIB forum
- A community of readers to share your love of books with
