DescriptionHeadway South West London (HSWL) is a charity that supports people affected by brain injury, including people with a brain injury, their families and carers. It aims to plug the gap in existing services for those with acquired brain injury, as well as promote understanding of the condition and support health and social care professionals working in the field. The charity offers a range of services:

- Free monthly support meetings
- Family and friends support
- A community outreach programme
- Social events and gatherings
- A regular newsletter
- A helpline

The support group meets at two different venues on different weeks, usually on:

- every second Tuesday of each month at a location in Wimbledon from 7:30pm

- and every third Wednesday of each month from 6.30pm at a location in Croydon.

Contact the group for the location of the next meeting. Support group activities vary from month to month often with a mixture of information and fun activities, and the opportunity to speak and share experiences with people who know what it can be like to struggle with the after-effects of a brain injury. The family and friends support group meets alternately in Wimbledon and in Croydon also.

Visit the Headway SW London website.
