London enters Tier 2
Published: Thursday, October 15, 2020
From midnight on Friday October 16, the whole of London will move into ‘Level 2’ restrictions.
This means you must not meet socially with friends and family indoors in any setting unless you live with them or have formed a support bubble with them. This includes private homes, and any other indoor venues such as pubs and restaurants.
In this video, the leader of Wandsworth Council Cllr Ravi Govindia explains the new Tier 2 restrictions, asks everyone to follow the rules in order to stop the spread of Covid, and reassures residents that, as during the first wave of the virus, the council will be there to support vulnerable people.
We will also be delivering a leaflet to all homes in the borough giving information on the new restrictions, what to do if you have symptoms & the support available from the council. Read it online here.
