Mayor pays tribute to her Majesty

In the video the Mayor of Wandsworth Cllr Richard Field pays tribute to her years of service and her status as a force of stability at a time of immense change. As she enters her platinum year, he talks about Her Majesty’s dedication, grace, humour and charm.

He remembers the sense of community at the time of her coronation and asks the people of the borough to join him in celebrating today’s Wandsworth community.

Wandsworth is waiving all fees and charges for anyone organising a street party to celebrate this year’s Platinum Jubilee, with many parties expected to be held during the four-day bank holiday from June 2-5. Find out more.
