Together on waste

We are reducing the volume of household and council waste and increasing recycling. 

We want to maximise and encourage uptake of the 3 R’s principles of reduce, reuse, recycle.

 What we are doing

Actions we are taking on waste:

• Continue to send zero waste to landfill
• Eliminating single use plastic from council organisations
• Delivery of informative communications to residents about the environmental impact of waste

• Only purchase what you need to reduce food waste
• Recycle or reuse what you can

• Reduce single use plastic consumption
• Don’t litter
