Party on the street in Ritherdon Road

Published: 7 June 2017

The annual Ritherdon Road Street party returns this Sunday (June 11) between 11am and 5pm.

Motorists are advised that Ritherdon Road will be closed to traffic during the event.

Organised by local traders, this year’s free event will include more stalls and entertainment, including 60 food schools, a Sambrook’s beer tent, wine and fresh lemonade. Boutique market stalls will be selling flowers, clothes, gifts, toys and more.

A full music stage will include performances from The Hayward Sisters, Tony Moore, kids entertainers Funky Moves, local singing group Balhamonics and Tony Bowen, the Human Jukebox.

Children’s entertainment will include The Ministry of Giggles, a funfair ride and a visit from the local fire brigade.

Located just off Balham High Road, Ritherdon Road is home to a wide range of fashionable shops, cafes, restaurants and businesses.

The event is supported by James Pendleton Estate Agents, Hot Yoga South, People for Places Leisure (Balham Leisure Centre), As Nature Intended and Wandsworth Council
