Poll cards not needed to cast votes at election

Published: 7 June 2017

People intending to vote in tomorrow's (Thursday's) Parliamentary election are being reminded that they do not need a poll card to cast their vote.

Poll cards have been delivered to every eligible voter informing them which polling station they should use, including those who registered close to the deadline.

But any eligible voter who has mislaid their poll card can still vote by telling polling station staff their name and address.

As long as their name appears on the electoral register they will be able to vote.

Polling stations will be open tomorrow, Thursday, June 8 between 7am and 10pm.
