Grab last minute gifts in your town centre

Last minute Christmas shoppers can pick up unique gifts and festive food at events this weekend.

Upcoming events include: 

Saturday December 17 – Putney Market. Stallholders will be taking Christmas orders ready to collect on Christmas Eve. Readers of the council's Brightside Online weekly e-newsletter can grab a free coffee.

December 17- 18 – Southside Shopping Centre in Wandsworth Town has its annual Christmas Wrapping event in aid of Putney Samaritans and Sammy the Dinosaur will be roaming the centre entertaining shoppers. On December 17 Santa Claus will be in his grotto in Pizzastorm.

December 17-18 – Tootsmas. A weekend of fun from the people who brought you Tootopia. At Graveney and Meadow tuck into London’s tastiest street food at the Street Food Takeover, plus boozy hot chocolate and mulled wine.  On Saturday morning head to Tooting Tram & Social for the Tootsmas Winter Market. In the evening the White Christmas Fair takes over Tooting Market for late night shopping and foodie treats. Children can make their own Christmas decorations or meet Santa  in the Tootsmas grotto. For the adults there will be live music and DJs all weekend, plus  a one-off festive Burlesque Night Train show at The Antelope and a 50s-themed party at Graveney & Meadow.
