Published: 31 May 2016

The popular Unplugged community street party returns to Old York Road this Sunday afternoon (June 5).

The event will feature live music and family entertainment, plus the chance for Old York Road’s diverse mix of independent traders to showcase their wares.

The seventh annual Unplugged event will take place from noon to 6pm on Old York Road, Wandsworth. The road will be closed to traffic for the day from 7am to 9pm.

Bars, restaurants and cafes which line the street will be serving food and drink throughout the day, including real cask ales and a hog roast from The Alma pub, contemporary British food from Konnigans restaurant, speciality coffee and street food from CWTCH, and Caribbean street food from Ackee Tree.

There will also be an eclectic mix of pop-up acoustic musicians, children’s activities and 30 stalls selling an array of arts, crafts, jewellery and clothing.

Old York Road Unplugged is run by Old York Road traders in partnership with Wandsworth Council and Think Events London. It is sponsored by Young’s, Wandsworth Town Centre Partnership, Southside Shopping Centre and Wandsworth Council, with Run Wild Media as media partners.

It is supported by Konnigans, CWTCH, Ackee Tree, Brew, Chit Chaat Chai, MeatUp Grill, The Beer Boutique and Venture Studios Wandsworth.
