Graveney ward residents invited to ‘Let’s Talk’ meeting
Published: 24 February 2016
Residents living in Tooting’s Graveney ward will be able to raise issues of concern with their locally elected councillors and senior town hall managers at another ‘Let’s Talk’ feedback session next week.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 1 and will give residents who live in this part of Tooting the opportunity to highlight local issues and deliver their verdicts on a range of public services as well as suggesting improvements in the way they are run.
Topics regularly raised at these feedback sessions include parking, street cleaning, schools, policing, public transport and the NHS.
The meeting will be attended by the ward’s three locally elected councillors - Andy Gibbons, Alaina MacDonald and Rex Osborn, who leads the opposition group on the council. The leader of the council Cllr Ravi Govindia will chair the meeting.
Senior officials will also be on hand to answer questions from the audience and listen carefully to ideas and suggestions on how services could be improved.
The meeting is being held at Franciscan primary school in Franciscan Road and will begin at 7.30pm.
People who are unable to attend can submit questions in advance via the council’s website at www.wandsworth.gov.uk/letstalk. A summary of the issues raised by residents will be posted on these web pages after the meeting.
People with a disability who require support or assistance to attend should call Gareth Jones on (020) 8871 7520 or email email@example.com
