Cycle maintenance and safety
We will be running three 4-hour intermediate bike fixing courses in 2024.
Intermediate bike fixing courses
There will be one sessions a week on the third Saturday of the month, from May to July 2024.
Session
All sessions run from 9am to 1pm.
- Saturday 18 May 2024 - Brakes
- Saturday 15 June 2024 - Brakes
- Saturday 20 July 2024 - Gears
A maximum of six people per session. All relevant tools and resources will be provided.
The sessions will not cover hydraulic brakes or electrical gear systems.
Course content
The course will cover:
- Identifying main issues and faults
- How to complete checks
- Making minor adjustments
- Replacing and changing
Venue
All sessions will be at Tadmore House, Frogmore Complex, Dormay Street, London, SW18 1EY.
