Sprinkler show flat
A show flat enabling sheltered housing residents to see what a flat with fire suppression sprinklers looks like is shown in the video below.
The council has made a commitment to retro-fit sheltered housing flats with sprinklers. Modern accredited sprinkler systems are only activated by heat from a fire and operate on an individual room-by-room basis.
