If you are struggling to pay your rent, please let us know by contacting your Rent Collection Officer. We would like to help if possible and may be able to refer you for further assistance.
The Financial Inclusion Team provides benefits, budgeting and debt advice to council tenants who are having difficulty paying their rent.
We will do the following:
- Review your current income and expenses
- Identify additional benefits you could be eligible for and find ways you could save money on your bills
- Help you set-up a personal budget and advice on how to prioritise to make ends meet, and deal with debts
