Overview

The Council has received a petition from some residents of Sudlow Road and Frogmore SW18 reporting problems due to non-residents parking in the road outside the existing controlled hours/days.

This petition requested that the operational hours and days of the Wandsworth Town CPZ, W1 are increased in these streets from the current times of 9.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday to 8.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Saturday to provide more parking protection.

As the petition met the Council’s required criteria, we are now asking you whether you would wish to see the operational hours of the CPZ increased in this area as, described above.

  • Increasing the hours or days of control will not affect the cost of, or require you to obtain a new, resident (or business) parking permit.
  • Your visitors would be required to display a resident visitor permit or pay and display ticket (virtual/paper) when parking during the extended controlled hours/days.

The Council would like to demonstrate that any change has the support of local residents so a good response is very important.

A report will be presented to committee taking all relevant factors into account. We will write to you as soon as we have news of the decision and an update will be provided on the council’s current parking consultations webpage here.

Information on how CPZs work including all parking charges can be found on the council's parking and streets webpage here.
