The government provided £9.5m of funding that was made available to businesses not eligible for the statutory grant schemes. In order to access an additional £2.9m of funding, we needed to spend the full allocation by 30 July 2021. To achieve this, each business premises that received an ARG payment was paid a further one off payment of £4,500. New claims will also receive this 'top up' in addition to the standard grant value.
