Wandsworth Youth Council

The Youth Council is made up of young people who are interested in developing campaign and projects about issues that are important to them and ensuring that every young person can have a say in decisions that affect them.  These young people are recruited from: local youth provision, school councils, voluntary organisations and local residents.

Youth councillors have one year in post and can be involved in two main areas of work. They can be involved in campaigns that use drama, film or other creative methods to explore a particular theme in their community.

Or training forums, where they will have the opportunity to train young people and adults on the ground on how they can best involve children and young people in decision making.
