SkateBoard & BMX Bike Competition

Wandsworth IYSS and Wandsworth Play service have collaborated to hold an annual skate park event since 2010.The event is held at kimber park adventure centre.
The event is open to all young people who live, study or use Wandsworth youth services facilities, to date over 30 Young people have taken part in the event. The aim of the event is to give young people the chance to take part enjoy and achieve as part of the ECM outcomes. Every young person who takes part is given a certificate to acknowledge their effort and participation with prizes for those who come in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
The event is split into two age groups, 8 - 13 and 13 - 19 with 3 events in each age category.
- Time trails on the BMX track.
- Tricks on bike on the half pipes/ramps.
- Tricks on skateboards on half pipes/ramps.
