The WLSP have recently received feedback from the Government on Wandsworth's
first Neighbourhood Renewal Strategy.
The Government Office for London (GOL) praises the WLSP for a clear and
well set-out NRS that provides a "good foundation on which to build future
activity".
You can read the full letter from GOL here.
A response to this letter was tabled at the WLSP meeting on the 21st November
2002 and can be read here.

Wandsworth Council Press Release
16th September 2002
As part of the Neighbourhood Renewal Strategy
(NRS) Roehampton consultation programme, The WLSP wanted to seek Young
People's views on their local area and ways which it could be improved
for them. In March 2002, several students from the Elliot School in West
Putney were asked to take part in a web-based consultation exercise called
the Elliot School Forum. We specifically asked about their thoughts on
youth facilities and how their local environment could be improved.
The results of the Elliot School Forum, which now form part of the NRS,
can be viewed by clicking
here. The overall results of the Roehampton Consultation Programme
have been used to inform the spending of £900,000 Neighbourhood Renewal
Funds and the future direction of the NRS. You can view the latest draft
of Wandsworth's NRS by clicking here.
The photos below show some of the Elliot School Forum participants when
they presented their results to the WLSP meeting in June 2002. Please
