Be a better biker
Published: Thursday 11th January 18
Wandsworth’s bikers are invited to brush up their skills at a free BikeSafe Skills Day delivered by professional police motorcyclists.
The council’s road safety team has again teamed up with the
Met Police and Transport for London to offer Wandsworth’s bikers free places.
You will learn how to become a better, safer and more
confident rider and will get tailored feedback and advice. Courses are suitable
for riders of all levels.
The council has a limited number of free places for Wandsworth
residents still available. The usual cost is £45.
If you would like to go, call (020) 8871 6677 or visit www.wandsworth.gov.uk/roadsafety.

this is a great initiative and exactly what should be made compulsory for CYCLISTS, you will find nearly all bikers are fully aware of the dangers and are some of the best road users there is, they have some of the toughest training and tests to take and then using the roads is an experience in its self, whereby cyclists have no training no formal paperwork or qualification and 9.5 out of 10 are dangerous untrained coffin dodgers really. but dont take my word for ask the nation!mike
